Why it’s on the list
The long day: a round trip from camp to Taupō, about three and a half hours of driving. The falls are on the river track from Spa Park, so the plan is a hot soak first, then the walk. The Aratiatia release time comes from a third-party guide, so I need to confirm it before planning around it.
